Alhaj Md. Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil. A renegade and tested leader in the politics of Bangladesh awami Jubo League. For more than 40 years, the successful statesman Sheikh Hasina’s Sipahsala has been a trusted and activist-friendly leader. Due to which he has been rewarded as the General Secretary of Jubo League. Ever since he took charge as the General Secretary of Jubo League, he has been working day and night to bring Juba League back to its glory.
He was repeatedly tortured during the BNP-Jamaat alliance government. After being released two days later, he met the then Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina. He has been tortured by the police many times and is still in the field of politics with bruises. In 2010, he joined the UN General Assembly with the Prime Minister.

Brief introduction
Alhaj Md. Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil was born on 27 June in the traditional Khan family of Nishchintpur in Matlab upazila of Chandpur district. She is survived by seven sisters and five brothers. His father, the late Mofazzal Hossain Khan, was a devoted activist of the Bangabandhu ideology. He worked to strengthen the politics of Awami League for the greater good. Following in his father’s footsteps, Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil became involved in BCL politics from his student life.
He passed SSC from Nishchintpur High School in 1979 and HSC from Dhaka City College. He later obtained his B.Sc. degree from Shah Sultan Degree College, Bogra. He got married in 1997 to Mamtaz Begum, daughter of a prominent Muslim family in Nawabganj, Dhaka. In his private life, he is the eldest son of two children, Masroor Hossain Khan Nabil, is studying in a private university and is the scholarship secretary of Dhaka City North Chhatra League. Youngest son Musarat Hossain Khan Nahid is studying higher secondary at Adamjee College.
Alhaj Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil was an active member of Lalbagh Thana Chhatra League in the 80’s. Be. Joint Convener of 9no. Ward of Undivided Dhaka City Awami Jubo League in 1991, Organizing Secretary of Dhaka City North in 1993 , He was elected general secretary in 2003 and president in 2012. Most recently, on 23 November 2019, he was elected General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League through the 7th Congress of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League.
In 2011, Umrah Hajj was performed with all the family members, Alhaj Md. Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil. In his personal life he has achieved great success as a good-natured, humble, pious, social worker, businessman. He is currently the Chairman of Nabil Properties Ltd., Nabil Packaging and Printing Industries Ltd. and Mrs. Khan Traders.
Besides politics, he is working for the development of social activities and education. His village Chandpur Matlab Uttar has established many educational institutions. Nishchitpur High School is acting as the President of the Governing Body of Nishchintopur Degree College.
